PCBGE7 Canon 7D BG-E7 Plate Arca-Swiss Type

I had been looking for an Arca-Swiss plate for my Canon 7D, with attached Battery Grip, for quite a while and finally came across just what I needed (PCBGE7) from ProMediaGear. When I received the item I was very impressed with the component quality, superb finish, and precision machining, every bit as good as Kirk and Really Right Stuff. The packaging was also exceptional and I received the product in a timely fashion. A very professional catalog was included and I already intend to purchase several items based on what was published in that superb catalog. The website is also well constructed and helpful. The PCBGE7 Canon 7D BG-E7 Plate Arca-Swiss Type is a lifesaver! I shoot raw video on the Canon 7D via Magic Lantern firmware add-on. This plate is now used under my battery grip to re-align the 1/4" female thread. This makes it easier to use with 15mm rods and my matte box. What was best about this was I had a limited amount of money, and ProMediaGear had this product discounted. I am very grateful for this. The build quality is top notch, and I have no worries this product will last a very long time. I was really happy with the option to remove the silver slits/small holes on the left and right side, since I didn't need these for filming. This is a well made QR plate. It fits my Canon 7D with battery grip perfectly. I bought two, one for each Camera. If you made a L bracket for the 7D with battery grip I would have bought one of those too!

Much better product than I expected. VERY WELL finished, fits perfectly on my 7D & BG-E7. Low profile lets me just leave it on the camera. Now make an L Bracket for the 7D & Grip! I'll buy it!
