Bought this for my Canon 5DS/R BG-E11 battery grip and it is an excellent product. The fit and quality is excellent and the ability to have the strap remain attached while connected to a tripod is awesome. It's comfortable on the hands and the strap never needs to be disconnected.

My joke is that cameras made before 2018 are vintage cameras. I took out my Canon 5DSR the other day — how quaint — felt like I was using an old vintage camera. I decided I wanted to use the camera with the battery grip attached: I like the increased weight and the grip provides something for my fat hands to grab onto. What if you like the battery grip, but want to put it on a tripod? Pro Media Gear has the answer. They sell QR plates that fit the battery grip perfectly. With battery grips on cameras, a camera plate needs to be extra stable, without twisting or coming loose, and the PMG plate for the 5D3 and related models is very stable, while being light-weight and slim.
