Nikon takes a huge step forward as it officially launches the Z9 full-frame camera. The latest mirrorless flagship from Nikon packs a 45.7-megapixel stacked CMOS sensor, 8K video capabilities, and a 120 FPS continuous shooting.

The recent Nikon Z9 leaks revealed most of the specs. However, Nikon surprised everyone with the Z9's price.

For only $5,496, Nikon's flagship is priced lower than the Sony A1 ($6,498) and the Canon EOS R3 ($5,999).

Besides price, the latest Nikon camera is also ahead when it comes to action photography. The 120 FPS is a stunner but the resolution goes down to 11-megapixels only.

However, the Nikon Z9 can take 20 FPS continuous RAW shooting at full resolution. This is more than enough for sports and wildlife photography.

Moving on to the video department, the Z9 shoots 8K30p, 4K60, or fullHD120.

8K is getting common nowadays. But the Nikon Z9's edge is its video recording limit. While other cameras have 30-minutes to record videos, the Z9 can shoot for up to two hours before it overheats.
